You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Tentative deal reached to end Hollywood writers strike. No deal yet for actors | CBC News

The Writers' Guild of America strike may possibly end very soon, as a tentative agreement was reached on Sunday. While picketing is not prevalent in terms of writers, the writers are encouraged to picket with the actors who are still on strike.

There are rumors that the actors may be closer to a tentative agreement later this week, as stages at production studios are now starting to get reserved for upcoming productions, which is a good sign - but take it with a grain of salt as they are just rumors.

If the deal is accepted, the writers will start writing scripts for the upcoming season. However, comedy shows such as Abbott Elementary may likely lose a full season of production due to production wrapping up by November - and if true, any scripts for such shows written by that point will likely be carried over into the 2024-25 season. I don't think they will cancel a show after losing a full season because of a strike because it's very wrong. If a very minimal number of episodes are produced, I think they will likely be holdovers until Fall 2024 - they probably won't air the episodes in the spring unless the show is a candidate for cancellation.

Whatever shows return, I have a feeling that the show's running time is likely going to be shorter, with a longer opening theme (2 to 3 minutes long, and would be recycled), and more commercials will likely be added.

Good...because I have a friend who wrote a screenplay and has supported the strike.
