You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Does anybody know what episode of Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels this scene is from?

It looks like it takes place inside a ship at night or a submarine underwater.

We can rule out "Disco Cavey" since the Teen Angels wore their usual wardrobe in the image below.

Not off-hand, but there is one other possibility: one of The New Scooby Doo Movies featured a crossover with Josie And The Pussycats that centered on a counterfeiting press aboard a paddleboat steamer, which was depicted with portholes. It's a case of Did Not Do The Research, as these steamers had no windows in their hull, and above decks were fitted with regular square windows. Portholes are fitted on the hulls of capital ships that have to deal with seafaring squalls. Riverboats rarely have to contend with such severe weather.

In The Little Rascals episode "Cap'n Spanky's Showboat", I can confirm I saw no portholes in the riverboat, as I saw Spanky peeking out a rectangular window asking Alfalfa "Are you okay, pal?" after Alfalfa got caught in the hammock just after Darla and Buckwheat were first seen barefoot.

"The Haunted Showboat" was produced in the early 1970s, which explains the case of "Did Not Do The Research" so chances are that H-B likely corrected their mistakes and possibly later in the 70s, riverboats used in H-B cartoons were depicted with rectangular windows and not portholes, as was proven in "Cap'n Spanky's Showboat".

Of course, a riverboat possibly being used in the Captain Caveman episode I am trying to figure out is still not ruled out.

It's definitely not "Cavey and the Murky Mississippi Mystery", as the riverboat had rectangular windows. It sounds like Hanna-Barbera fixed their mistake regarding riverboats.

I think the likely candidate is "The Creepy Case of the Creaky Charter Boat", which has portholes on a ship.
