You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Yep, that is correct. It is indeed Kubla Kraus.

    Okay here we go.
    1. No, I'm not Christmas themed--but I live in a cold environment.
    2. I appeared in two shorts.
    3. I melt at the end of the first one.

The character I was thinking of is already on the list. So it must be someone else, but I haven't a clue.

    It's Hugo the Abominable Snowman.

He appeared in The Abominable Snow Rabbit, and Spaced Out Bunny.
The other two are self- explanatory.

Great, but I'll need to pass my turn to someone else. Somebody who hasn't posted in a while, like OUB, Peterhale, or FluidGirl.

I think I have another character. Not a Christmas-themed one, but that doesn't really matter.

    1. I was created by children to help their dying world
    2. I have a feature that the people who created me do not
    3. Though I can perform telekenetic feats, I can be pretty naive

OK, hopefully I can dig some up

    4. My cartoon is originally French, and was dubbed into English in the 80's
    5. After I found help, it took us an entire season's worth of episodes to get back to my home
    6. The second season of my show found my friends and I having to save my home's sun for a second time, even though it looked like we had saved it at the end of the first season

Sorry, but I'm completely stumped. I'm not too keen on foreign cartoons.

    Merry Christmas, everyone!

This is Arkana, created by the children of Arcadia out of stone (via the light of the dying artificial sun Tehra) to travel to the earth's surface to find help, from the TV series Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea.

Correct, peterhale. It's Arkana from "Spartakus & The Sun Beneath the Sea."

Anyway, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good bite! I mean night!

Will the next character please sign in...

    1) I appear in 2 movies (the second being direct-to-video) and a TV series.

    2) I am the one with the brains, as I have to remind my brother when he gets his daft ideas.

    3) We're hired to do the villain's dirty work.

Found the answer rather quickly, I'd say. It's Horace Badun.

    1. He was in both "!01 Dalmatians," and the direct-to video sequel, as well as the TV series.

    2. He's the brains of the team, while Jasper isn't very bright.

    3. These men are hired by Cruella De Vil to dognap Dalmatian puppies.

Thanks, Pete. Now here's a good one:

    1. I'm one of four adult male superheroes specifically created for the series.

    2. I sort of share my name with the blacksmith of the gods.

    3. I use lightning as a weapon.

Yes, Glowworm, you nailed it. Black Vulcan it is.

    1. He was one of four adult male superheroes created for the show. The others were Apache Chief, Samurai, and El Dorado.

    2. Vulcan was the blacksmith of the gods.

    3. Self-explanatory.

So you get another turn. Good job. :)

Thanks--it took me a few minutes to think as I'm more familiar with Greek mythology than Roman and didn't know of any superheroes with the name of Hephaestus (The Greek counterpart of Vulcan)--then suddenly the name Black Vulcan came to mind, so I went to see if my hunch was correct.

    1. I am the daughter of an industrialist.
    2. My father turned out to be working with the bad guys during the first season--however, I was in the dark about it.
    3. I hook up with the title protagonist at the end of the series' finale which doesn't sound like a big deal at first--except the protagonist happens to be female.
