You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing.

I'm not sure about this one. I'll have to think about it.

I have a feeling it's Piglet. He's small, timid and pink.

Thanks--always thought Piglet was adorable. Amusing that my favorite Winnie the Pooh character is unKosher.

I think I can squeeze this in before heading off tomorrow to do some Black Friday shopping with my mother and then heading to work.

Jan Mouse from The Devil and Daniel Mouse.

Jan and Daniel are struggling musicians.
Jan signs a contract with the Devil to become famous.
Because she didn't read the fine print, she was surprised that the Devil came to claim her soul.

Sorry. If there's a male redhead that fits the clues, I can't find him.

    Next three.

The title of my cartoon is a play on an old song.
The game that I challenged the protagonist with, originated in my country.
    I have an accent.

Can't think of a game of foreign origin, or an old song that was parodied as a cartoon title.

    You got it peterhale

    Angus is a red head.
When he fires a gun at Bugs, he runs over to pick up the bullet. (It's been in the family for years)
In the beginning of the short, Bugs mistook him for a lady because he was wearing a kilt.
The cartoon title is a take on the song, "My Bonny Lies Over the Ocean."
Golf originated in Scotland. (where is cartoon takes place)

    Take it away.

    Here goes...

    1) I'm another Scotsman.
    2) I take in the protagonist, on condition he earns his keep.
    3) The protagonist has no name, but starred in 3 shorts.

Hold the phone, while I've never seen the short in question, this is a Scotsman named Lavish McTavish from "Boston Beanie."

It is indeed Mr Lavish McTavish, whose name belies his frugality - evidenced when we first see him, washing his used Kleenex - sorry, Clean-Ex - tissues!

    1) He rolls his 'R's to infinity.
    2) The hobo cat has to catch mice if he wants food.
    3) The Sylvester-like cat appeared in Kitty Caddy, Up n' Atom and Boston Beanie (all 1947, when Bob Clampett was head storyman for Screen Gems)

Boston Beanie is on Youtube, click here to see.

Who'd have thought I'd give up guessing one Scotsman for another? :D
    Anyhow, here's a good one.

    1. I too am Scottish, but not quite in the way you're probably thinking.
    2. I seek a new home because my own has been taken over by humans.
    3. Crying actually helps me acquire my new home.
