You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing.

Nope, not Elahrairah. I've actually never seen Watership Down.

Had to check my Disney book for the answer. It's Lulubelle from the "Bongo" segment of "Fun And Fancy Free."

The segment is completely unsettling, as it shows Bongo cruelly treated both in the circus and the wild.

Lulubelle shows her love for Bongo by slapping him, but he thinks she hates him, until he learns from other bears that "a bear likes to say it with a slap," and realizes she loves him and not Lumpjaw.

Good guess, but my character is reeeealy creepy. Here are the next clues.

I encourage some kids to help me create with clay.
    I gave these creations life.
Then I reveled my true self, and showed the kids my detest towards humans.

Well, I'm stumped again, since I can't recall ever seeing such a cartoon.

Okay, I now know exactly who this is.
It's Satan from the stop-motion film "The Adventures of Mark Twain." I've heard of this segment although I've never really seen it--but the minute you mentioned, kids, clay creations and hatred--I knew exactly what this was.

    Yep, it's Satan.

He appears in a segment of The Adventures of Mark Twain.
    He firsts appears friendly.
He encourages Huck, Tom, and Becky to make people out of clay.
Satan gives the clay people life.
He then destroys the people by using war, and natural disasters.

Extra info: The segment was based on Twain's last written work, The Mysterious Stranger.
    Creepy stuff.

Yeah, I've seen this thing pop up on youtube titled as being a creepy disturbing short banned from tv from time to time. I'm not sure where I first heard of this, or where, I just know of this particular segment for some reason.

Anyway--here's my character--next round, if I know the character, I'm sitting out.

    1. I come from an online short from an online animation "channel" on youtube.
    2. Originally meant to be just one two part short, a series will now be made based on it due to a kickstarter.
    3. I was recently unemployed--until a strange creature from another planet dropped into my life.

Hmm, not popular enough to be Mondo Minishow's Happy Tree Friends. Also rules out the "How It Should Have Ended" franchise. And nobody's going to touch Schwartz's stuff, euw. Kid And Cat, perhaps?

    more clues

    4. My newfound friend has both feline features and canine features, hence his name.
    5. There are little subtitles when he talks.
    6. Instead of a voice actor, a well known singing voice synthesizer from Japan is used for my fuzzy friend.

For some reason I saw the first episode of this, way back. Must have been featured on Cartoon Brew.

It's Bee, from Bee and Puppycat.

Right you are! It is Bee from Bee and Puppycat.

    1. Bee and Puppycat can be seen on the youtube channel Cartoon Hangover--which is best known for Bravest Warriors.
    2. Self-explanitory--but the kickstarter was due to the popularity the short gained.
    3. When we first see Bee, she has just been fired from her job. When Puppycat shows up, she now has a job with the temp agency at Fishbowl Planet.
    4. Puppycat obviously looks like both, a dog and a cat.
    5. Yes, there are subtitles for Puppycat.
    6. Puppycat is voiced by the Vocaloid program Oliver.

Sorry for the delay - time zone clash!

    1) My favourite tree is depicted literally.

    2) A sting results in my being taken to the capital.

    3) I end up happily back where I started.

    Ferdinand the Bull.

He loves sitting under the cork tree (with actual corks).
After being stung by a bee and going on a rampage, the men took him to Madrid to fight.
Ferdinand refuses to fight, so he was taken back to his tree.

You've got it bang to rights, saltyboot. It is Ferdinand the Bull, for all the reasons you give.

    Your point, and your turn...

    Here I go.

I have to move to another state.
I don't particularly like my new friend.
A little mouse leads me to another world.

The only one I can think of is Thumbelina, but she doesn't fit the first two clues.
