You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I bet you'd have to be some sort of wizard to figure
this one out. I guess someone will figure it out by

Thanks straydog for the hints. Just the kick I need. The answer is Sir Ector from The Sword in the Stone.

    He adopted Arthur (Wart)
He has high hopes for his biological son.
Is clue 3 referring to Wart?
    He's a redhead
    He's strict
    He uses the demerit system.
At the end, Arthur is crowned king.

Plaudits to straydawg for pointing the ball at the goal, and c0ngratulations, and the point, to saltyboot for heading it in!

Clue 3 refers to Merlin - Sir Ector does not approve of wizards or education, and considers Merlin - or 'Marvin' as he consistently calls him - an interfering old goat. But he fears Merlin's magic, and is not prepared to oppose him.

Clue 5 is a quote - Sir Ector is justifying his regimented routine: "You've got to keep a tight schedule to run a big place like this. Need strict rules, especially for small boys!"

    8) Arthur is proud to be made Kay's squire, much to Merlin's disgust!

    Over to you, saltyboot...

    Thanks peterhale! Now for mine.

In this short, I see a girl I like but I'm not her type.
She seems to prefer white mice, so I cover myself with powder.
Now she digs me and we got married.

Dang, this could almost be Jerry Mouse from the later MGM Tom and Jerry cartoon "Mouse For Sale," but Jerry wasn't powdered to become a white mouse, nor did he marry the lady of the house. Purchased, yes; married, no. One of the few cartoons where Tom Cat comes out on top. Interesting dance step: every sixth step is stomp-on-the-mouse.

The only other time Jerry Mouse turned white was "The Missing Mouse," where shoe white helped him impersonate an experimental lab mouse reported to be highly explosive. That ... didn't end well.

I wanted to post the next clues earlier but had a very busy day. So hear they are.

I got pushed into a cage trap by the in-law.
    I couldn't get myself free.
My wife was taken away by her family and they left me their.

Well, I can easily narrow out any Tom and Jerry shorts or Looney Tunes. However, I too have no idea.

    OK, here's the last three.

    This cartoon has only music.
    This is a Chinese short.
It says that I get married in the title.

    Correct emeraldisle!

My clues explains the plot. I will add that the cartoon was produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio in 1983.

Thanks, Saltyboot. Just saw it on YouTube, and it's a real tearjerker.

Now here are clues I've wanted to post for quite a while:

    1. We're one duo mentioned in song by another duo.

    2. We enjoy a midnight stroll on the beach.

    3. We're selfish when it comes to shellfish.

This sounds like The Walrus and the Carpenter.

Salty, you nailed it again. It certainly is the Walrus and the Carpenter from Alice In Wonderland.

    1. They're mentioned in a song sung by Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.

    2. They stroll the beach at midnight.

    3. When they meet the oysters, they gorge on them.

So it's your turn again. Great job. :)

    Thanks! Here's mine.

In this short, I'm an exterminator.
I've been hired by the protagonist, but none of my ideas worked.
    I always carry a plunger.
