You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing-ier.

Yes, this is Uku the volcano from the Pixar short, Lava.
    1. Uku is lonely, and longs for a companion.
    2. Since this short is a musical, Uku sings of how much he wants someone to lava.
    3. This goes on for thousands of years. Finally, a dormant underwater lady volcano who has heard his song erupts from below and the two eventually become one island together.

Thanks, Glowworm. How about this one?

    1. I'm hands down the most infamous villain created by the author.

    2. My mode of transportation did not exist when the original book was written, but did have another one named after it in real life.

    3. Thanks to Pixar, I now share my name with a little clownfish.

Could this be Captain Nemo, created by Jules Verne for Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea?

Yes, it's he. Good job, and you once again have control of the board. :)

    1. Self-explanatory.

    2. The Nautilus was a real sub, launched back in the 1950's.

    3. Self-explanatory again.

Wonderful, now I can unleash a timely character on y'all.

    1) This character has appeared only once in an animated feature film that debuted on Friday 22 November.

    2) And once is all he'll get, because he doesn't survive to the Happy Ending.

    3) Fair Play Rule again: this character is human. His mortal opponent, however, isn't.

Okay, the tough clues are out of the way, now for the intermediate clues:

    4) Most of the townsfolk either admire this character or at least tolerate him; few regard him as a villain ... though he is one.

    5) Although the town has quite a few cute li'l muffins available, this character naturally wants the one pretty girl he can't have.

    6) Just like so many of his fellow villains, this character plummets to his doom. There's no Wile E Coyote puff of smoke upon impact, yet it's clear this bad boy is a goner.

Of course--No one dies like Gaston, says goodbyes like Gaston, no one has little skulls in his eyes like Gaston. Seeing Belle with the Beast made him glower, so he stabbed the poor guy in the back. But then he fell off that tower, and then quite suddenly everything went black!

Oh my, look at them pounce on this one. ÔoÔ Yes, this is Gaston from Disney's Beauty and the Beast that debuted on Friday 22 November 1991.

No one's self-centered like Gaston, no one chews scenery like Gaston. So Emerald Isle collects a fresh +1. Up for posing a new character?

    Well, yes, and thanks.

    1. Although I'm a friend of the title character, I don't do what he does throughout the series.

    2. In fact, I prefer a dice roll to a card game.

    3. I have the same last name as a motorcycle stunt man and his siblings from an old Hanna-Barbera show.

Thought this would be a no-brainer: Three more, and that should do it:

    4. Despite my first name, I'm not a blueblood by definition.

    5. The title hero, and several other friends use Dark Magicians and various dragons to defeat their competitors.

    6. I literally find my "Serenity--" she's the sister of another card-playing friend.

Actually, this wasn't quite a no-brainer for me. I knew it was a character from Yugioh! but I'm not actually that familiar with the series--except for the infamous Abridged Series, but only because my boyfriend kept showing me bits of it.

Anyhow, this is Duke Devlin--was going to gun for Tristan because I recalled he had a crush on Serenity, but he really didn't fit the clues.

Ironically enough, it took me the longest time to finally enjoy turkey--when it's not thinly sliced or used as deli meat for a sandwich. Fortunately, the place I'm going to tomorrow had a really good turkey last year--so hopefully it will be just as good this year. (We meet my grandpa out for Thanksgiving because he's 94 and it's a bit of a long ride if he comes to us or if we drive him over)

    Here we go.
    1. I'm a cute little guy at a sports game.
    2. The big jerk next to me keeps licking my ice cream cone.
    3. What I finally do to the guy is pretty violent!

Yes. This is the little guy from "Screwball Football." The running gag in this short is that a big jerk keeps sneaking licks from the poor little guy's ice cream. At the end of the short, the gun is shot to signal the end of the game--where is it coming from? The toddler who has taken his revenge and shot the man!
