You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing-ier.

Ah, I have it now. It must be Goldie Phesant from "Rock A Doodle."

Yes, this is Goldie Pheasant from Don Bluth's Rock-A-Doodle. She starts out as a chanteuse working for the ruthless boss Pinky. She's fuming jealous of Chanticleer, who's billed as "The King" and gets all the attention. She was sent to distract him so that he'd be much less likely to notice his old friends come to apologize. She gets a rethink while spending time with Chanticleer, however, and tries to make amends. Not a bad bit of character development for a breathy golden pheasant.

I'll add a fresh +1 to your score, EI, while you take control of the board. :)

Thanks, OUB. I do have another perfect set of clues:

    1. Along with my team mates, I'll be seen in an upcoming animated series.

    2. Neither I nor the pistol packer I accompany are human.

    3. I repeatedly introduce myself.

Ooh, I think I know who this is; they've been buzzing about this over on the TV Tropes board. But I'll follow your example and not hog all the turns. Me be quiet now. :muted:

Ok, folks, these are the last clues:

    4. I was first seen in a live action movie one year ago at this time.

    5. I guess you could say I was "planted" in the team.

    6. I'll also be in the sequel two years from now.

I've actually seen this movie --got a comic book loving boyfriend who insisted on having me watch it with him.
    1. My short is a Hispanic spin on a well known fairy tale.
    2. My short is also the very last of the classics as a famous studio's cartoon division closed down.
    3. The story is told by a man to his friend in a bar.

Last cartoon from a famous studio? The last cartoon from Warner Brothers' "Termite Terrace" is Señorella and the Glass Huarache from 1964. Therefore, this must be Prince Don Juan. (No wonder they don't let you see the bride before the wedding.) :nailbiting:  :dead:

I read the synopsis of this short, and it must be one of the female characters.

Nope, definitely not a female character. I know who it is, but I'm not going to steal the character from OUB.

I believe it's the strapmother, for the man narrating the story ended up married to her.

Nope not the stepmother--good grief I had no idea this one would be so difficult.
I think I just need one more clue to rein this one in.
    4. I am the title character.

Oh I understand--this is indeed the character. I used to see this one on Nickelodeon all the time as a child--and something about it--perhaps the fact that Cinderella in general is one of my favorite fairy tales charmed me.

Thanks, Glowworm. Now here's one that's never been tapped:

    1. I go back to the early 1950's, and returned in 1969.

    2. My adventures literally take place behind the screen.

    3. With help from kids at at home, my crises end in a....draw!

I'm old enough to remember when Bob Keeshan had his legendary Captain Kangaroo early morning show for children, and one of his cartoon staples was Terrytoons' Tom Terrific. One of the key elements of the show was getting kids to (ideally) place a sheet of clear cellophane over the cathode ray tube, then draw the item Tom Terrific would need to advance the plot. Interactive television, from before the moon landing.

Close but no cigar. It's not Tom Terrific.
