You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, ongoing-ier.

I'm not too keen on these online characters, so I'll leave it to someone else.

It's Simon's Cat! He's one of my favorite characters.

Mine too! Yes, it is Simon's Cat.

    1. Simon's Cat can be seen on Youtube--it is extremely popular, probably due to the cat's realistic behavior(at times)
    2. Simon's Cat generally wrecks havoc and a lot of the shorts end with him pointing to his mouth for food to his owner.
    3. Simon's Cat does not speak. We get a lot of awesome cat noises instead.

Can you tell I'm a cat lover? I'm obsessed with the one I own, too. But I digress. Let's see if I can come up with another one. I believe I have one, and I'm surprised this one hasn't been used yet! But it's an easy one, anyway.

    1. I'm a staple of Saturday morning commercials
    2. I have a very high opinion of my cereal
    3. I've had the same voice actor for fifty years

Correct, Em! It's the Grrrrrrrreat! Tony the Tiger!

    1. Seriously, does anyone here remember a Saturday morning where you haven't seen a Frosted Flakes commercial? Or even had a bowl of the cereal itself?

    2. What does Tony think of Frosted Flakes? He thinks they're grrrrrrrreat!

    3. Thurl Ravenscroft voiced Tony from 1951 until his death in 2005

Thanks, Fluidgirl: Time now for one that's vastly overlooked:

    1. I enter the big city on the back of a truck, claiming to have been born beneath a lucky star.

    2. Among other things, I encourage kids to take a twenty-one day vacation.

    3. However, my luck changes when I'm pursued by a cop, an ice cream vendor, and a construction worker after stealing fifty-six ice cream flavors and a huckleberry pie.

Ok. Three more. Here I go.

    4. I sing about multiplying by a lucky number.

    5. I go all the way up to 105, which just happens to be the cop's badge number.

    6. The number is imprinted on my foot, which has long been regarded as a good luck charm.

Well, I guess I stumped everyone with this one. The answer is Lucky Seven Sampson, from "Schoolhouse Rock."

    1. The rabbit makes his entrance in the back of a truck.

    2. When he meets the kids, he sings the line "Multiply seven times three. A twenty-one day vacation. You can play with me."

    3. He's pursued by a cop who sees him as a public nuisance, an ice cream vendor after chowing down on all fifty-six ice cream flavors, and a construction worker from whom he steals huckleberry pie.

    4. The episode is devoted to multiplying by seven, long considered a lucky number, as opposed to thirteen.

    5. Unlike most episodes which only go up to twelve, this one goes to seven times fifteen-105, which is the cop's badge number.

    6. The bunny has the number 7 imprinted on his foot, and rabbit's feet are regarded as good luck charms.

Since I don't feel like taking another turn on Friday the 13th, I pass my turn to anyone who wants it.

I've actually never seen this School House Rock song--and I used to see a lot of them as a child. As for the turn, I am going to have to pass on it myself--busy weekend.

Mein sister has a DVD set of Schoolhouse Rock, but I'm not sure if she's familiar with this character. Anyway, I think I have a character:

    1. I'm always blue

    2. I'm originally from the 1980's, but my franchise gets updated quite frequently

    3. I share a name with a dwarf, and a popular internet feline

I agree, however, the dwarf and the cat are called Grumpy--close enough.

Correct, Salty. 'Tis Grumpy Bear. Remember, this is from the girl on the board who dabbles in the thirty minute commercial!

    1. Grumpy Bear is blue

    2. Care Bears began life in the 1980's, but has been re-tooled quite a bit (matter of fact, so has most things from the 1980's)

    3. Self explanitory
