    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, now with 20% more ongoing.

Well, this has to be She-Hulk, part of the Marvel Universe figure-headed by Stan Lee. Interesting note: as part of an effort to put more females in the forefront, She-Hulk filled in for Ben Grimm among the Fantastic Four while Ben remained on Battle World, getting his head together.

You got it, OUB. Good job. :). Next character's all yours. Now to explain:

    1. She's Bruce Banner's cousin, natch.

    2. Stan Lee is still at it at his age.

    3. Like all other Marvel superheroes, she's an ally of Spiderman, who has his own Macy's Thanksgiving Day balloon. Don't know if it'll be there this year.

    4. Self-explanatory.

    5. She-Hulk debuted in 1980, and became a cartoon character two years later.

    6. Self-explanatory again.

That's nice. :) Oh, someone else has a Macy's Parade balloon.

    1) The title character has already been tapped as a Mystery character. However, these are a niece-and-nephew pair that appeared with increasing frequency.

    2) Their uncle started out as a Screwy Squirrel type of anarchist goofball, that mellowed out over time. These characters usually behave themselves until an antagonist triggers their social justice hellionism.

    3) Both of these character share the same legendary voice actor. Since the nephew hasn't hit puberty yet, he naturally has a higher-register voice.

That's precisely who they are. Added during the cartoon Get Lost!, this pair gradually became Woody Woodpecker's acolytes. They were given voices by the great June Foray until 1965. That's good for a +1, GW, plus control of the board. :)

    I got one.
    1. In my first--and last cartoon, I seek shelter on a biblical character's ark.
    2. This cartoon is infamous for being the one that got the director of my short fired from his position of the head of this animation studio.
    3. I try everything I can to get on the ark, even attempting to impersonate the Big Guy upstairs himself.

Correct. This is a Famous Studio Modern Madcap short and the one that got Howard Post fired from his position of the head of Paramount's cartoon studio.

Thanks, Glowworm. Now for one that's definitely untapped:

    1. I'm the owner of a comic strip cat everyone knows by name.

    2. I'm madly in love with my pets' veterinarian.

    3. In a Thanksgiving special, my grandma steps in to save the day.

Right, Salty. Good job. :). He owns Garfield, is in love with Liz, and in the Thanksgiving special, when the holiday went awry, his grandma arrived to set things right.

So you get a second helping, and another turn.

These puppy things are all siblings.
I had a pet hamster named Petey Pajamas

I'll answer this one since I already knew.
This is Miles Standish from the Animaniacs episode "Turkey Jerky" The Warner siblings are trying to protect their pet turkey, Mr. Gobbles from him.

    That episode was fun.
    Here's a little something.
    1. I'm after some kids' cereal in this parody commercial.
    2. However, it takes a rather dark turn when the cop tackles me down.
    3. The kids are actually willing to give up their cereal, but the cop won't let them.

I going purely guesswork here. There was that Kix cereal moment in Family Guy which appears in the Quote Game. Since Family Guy is known for its popular culture parodies (they went to town on Star Wars), I'll posit that this is Cookie Crook, the sneak-thief that pursues Cookie Crisp cereal. There's a classic Irish cop that's always thwarting Cookie Crook, therefore a parody version would likely be an abusive policeman using excessive force to subdue an unarmed absconder.

Nope this is an actual parody of a cereal commercial.
    4. This parody appeared on a live action tv show on FX.
    5. The character trying to steal the cereal is a wolf.
    6. The cereal in question is a chocolate coconut flavored one.
