You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

The Mystery Cartoon Character Game, now with 20% more ongoing.

Glowworm, you got it. It most certainly is Wee Willie. So you get the next turn. Good job. :)

    Okay, all set.
    1. The title of my short is exactly the same as that of an extremely popular Broadway show going on right now.
    2. Just add a pachyderm to the title.
    3. I'm extremely talented--and unfortunately forgetful.

Indeed. It's Hamilton the Musical Elephant--from the 1961 short of the same name. There is a second short with the little guy "Hamilton in the Music Festival," but unfortunately, the only copy I've found of it online is not in English.

I was originally invented to be a helper.
    I have a female name.
At first I appear to be a henchman, but later I prove to be the villain.

What the heck, let' s do this one.
    1. I want to be fed by my mother, but she wants me to learn to get my food the hard way.
    2. Waves are terrifying.
    3. I learn how to master them in order to find food.

Yes! I love that little pile of fluff! I also can somewhat relate to her--see when I was about 5 on a trip to the beach with the Kindergarten at Sandy Hook, I got too close to a wave and almost got swept away if not for a teacher. I had no idea what was going on, and afterwards was placed further away from the waves with some other kids who had gotten too close earlier.

Thanks, Glowworm. Time for another one that's never been posted here before:

    1. I introduce myself just before the theme song.

    2. I'm my natural color in the front, but my backside is blue.

    3. Another odd thing about me is...I'm the band's drummer.

Jabberjaw, the peculiar blue shark with the pale white underside. He tends to ambulate upright on his tailfins, and has the voice and mannerisms of Curly Howard of The Three Stooges series. Jabberjaw plays percussion for a band called the Neptunes in a cartoon series by Hanna-Barbera. :D

Thanks; and Extra Super Good Job to you, EmeraldIsle, for reaching the 400 Correct Response mark with Carolinus. I expect to update the UCL on Sunday to reflect the latest postings and current scores. :)

    1) This character occurs in a regularly televised animated series. The studio that produced the series no longer exists, but the franchise is still intact.

    2) The Queen Bee Rule is in effect here: while all his underlings adhere to a dress code, this character doesn't, because he's The Boss. It really helps to know who's in charge around here.

    3) Fair Play Rule time: this character is not human. There are occasional humans in this universe, but it's mostly non-humans by about 30 to 1.

Nobody? Gee, better get better at better cluing.

    4) There is magic in this character's world, and he's guilty of flinging some magic when there's sufficient cause.

    5) Presumably, this character is the eldest of his kind. In fact, his name suggests that he may have sired his underlings!

    6) Further evidence of being the Alpha Male: this character is the only one with facial hair. Perhaps he's the only fertile male in the colony.

Thanks, OUB. BTW, Grandpa Smurf had facial hair, too. Anyway, time for one who's gone untapped for reasons unknown:

    1. My live action show is now 30 years old.

    2. I star in two animated series, one of which is actually a prequel to the sitcom.

    3. In these, I go by my birth name rather than the name I'm better known by.
