Yes, this is the normally silent house cat Tom from his Academy-award winning cartoon Quiet, Please. Jerry Mouse has just made out his Last Will, which bequeaths unto Tom his sole earthly possession: one custard pie. Tom Reads this document, brightens at the prospect of a tasty dessert, and speaks that line quoted. Of course, Jerry lets him have it ... right in the puss, with gobs of goo in all directions. It's a vaudeville-days cliché, it was completely telegraphed, yet this gag still culled laughs. I hope this one was Thanksgiving-y enough.
