This is Chief Bongo from Zootopia telling Judy Hopps this--which is ironic because this just so happens to be a Disney movie, and Judy's dream does come true--although less from dreaming and singing and more from hard work.

Yes, that is Chief Bogo dressing down the pie-eyed Officer Hopps of the Zootopia Police Department. It's the way he says that line that really sells it.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with your food?"

The first line spoken on-screen by Zazu, spoken to Scar in scene 2 of The Lion King. Scar has captured a tiny mouse, and delivered his "life's not fair" soliloquy. Persnickety Zazu takes the opportunity to needle him about this.

Yep. This line always made me laugh as a child. As an adult though, I'm beginning to doubt that that was a mouse Scar was going to eat. Perhaps it was a kangaroo rat or a jerboa.

Well, whatever it was, it got away, never to be seen again. Its fifteen seconds of fame are over. Speaking of which ...

"Well, today's shot. Might as well go home and clean."

Didn't take long to find the answer. It's T.W. Turtle, from "Cats Don't Dance."

Yep, that's good ol' T.W. the turtle, voiced by the late Don Knotts. Cats Don't Dance is one of three feature-length projects by Turner Features Animation, the others being The Pagemaster and Tom And Jerry The Movie.

I thought the hint would be a dead giveaway(no pun intended). The answer is Spock, from "Star Trek: The Animated Series." Specifically, the classic episode "Yesteryear," in which he saves his younger self from a terrible fate.

Oh, yes, that's right. Spock's father is Vulcan Ambassador Sarek, who married Earth's Amanda Grayson. (It was the logical thing to do.)
