You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Well, what do you know? I found it. It's The Alligator King, from "Sesame Street."

Indeed. The Alligator King is feeling down, so he tells his seven sons that whoever can cheer him up will get to wear his crown. The seventh son does this by helping dad up when he trips on the rug. These are the final lines sung by his father.

Thanks, Glowworm. Now for a good and totally simple one:

"He's a-talkin' to me!" "Ok, he's-a talkin' to you! You're the boss!"

Okay, I knew this one, mostly. It's Tony Stromboli, the proprietor of the Italian restaurant where Tramp takes Lady for their tour of the town. The other fellow is ... Luigi, perhaps? The poor, skinny underling that big Tony tends to roar at. They're from Disney's Lady And The Tramp.

Actually, the other guy is Joe, but you're right for the most part, so you may take the next turn, OUB. Good job. :)

I hope I can come up with something equally memorable. Here goes:

[whispered] "This is the part where you run away."

That's right, this is Shrek the ogre, who discovered some xenophobic villagers heading for his home. He surprises them before they can do any harm, and takes all the steam out of their assault with a mighty roar. Being mostly boneheads, the villagers need the stage prompt to effect a retreat. Bravo, GW; now, quote us up. :)

Yep, Agnes spies a stuffed unicorn at an amusement park and gets very excited about it--and yes, this is actually how the quote is phrased. I always thought it was "It's so fluffy, I'm gonna die!"

Even here, I lob bricks. Helmets on, peoples.

Totoro, from My Neighbor Totoro. We see little Mei and the forest spirit Totoro waiting at a bus stop in the rain. Mei has an umbrella, while Totoro has nothing, not even clothes. Although, it begs the question: what would a forest spirit do with a nickel?

Oh, good hint. This must be the villain Ratigan exulting that he has finally defeated the hero. Basil of Baker Street, however, is still clinging to Big Ben's minute hand. Basil has also somehow "lifted" Ratigan's dinner bell, and rings it. This causes Ratigan to look in his pocket for that bell, missing the moment that the Big Ben begins to chime. The vibration topples the villain from the clock's face and sends him plummeting to his doom. Fridge Logic time: why would Big Ben chime at 10:45? It doesn't mark quarter-hour intervals, just hourly ones. Another mystery for The Great Mouse Detective to solve. :)
