You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I got a feeling it's from the Tom And Jerry short "The Truce Hurts."

Oooh, such a good feeling it is, too. Yes, this is the Truce as read by Butch the bulldog from the MGM cartoon The Truce Hurts. Diplomatic they ain't, but it did keep them from demolishing each other for half a day.

Thanks, OUB. Now forgive me for having tributes on the brain, but here goes:

"Well, we both bear a certain resemblance to Burt Reynolds."

Second hint: From one of two animated adaptations of a live action show that aired concurrently with "The Munsters."

Hm, nobody else glomped on this one. Okay, Hanna-Barbera Studios rarely let a live-action series go un-animated, so this'd be Gomez Addams from H-B's Addams Family series.

And despite their "ookiness," the Addams would still be better neighbors than some I've known.

Foghorn Leghorn from "Little Boy Boo." He and Egghead play hide and seek. Somehow, Egghead digs him up, even though he was clearly hiding in the feed box!

That's precisely where quote originates, Glowworm. How'd ol' Foggy get dug up out of the earth when he hid in the feed box, you ask? Well, by Isaac Newton physics, this can't happen. However, by Cartoon Physics: sure, why not?

Yeah, I've learned a long time ago not to question cartoons, but that bit is totally one of those "How in the world is that even possible?" moments. Cartoon logic be damned.

    Anyhow, let's do this one.
"Look, I'm Woody! Howdy Howdy Howdy!"

Yep, this is the Squeaky Shark from the first Toy Story movie.
Woody's been downgraded to Andy's toy bin. When he finally comes out for air, he realizes that his hat is missing. Guess who has it? ;)

Thanks, Glowworm. Now let's see if anyone's familiar with these quotes:

    "TIMBER!"

"You're supposed to yell TIMBER! BEFORE the tree falls down!"

This is the "helpful" advice given by Super Chicken to his right-hand lion, Fred. Of course, it does nothing to help poor Fred, and is one of Super Chicken's Bad Boss tendencies. From the Super Chicken series by Jay Ward Productions.
