We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Ah, from Warner Brothers' Animation's Book Revue, where characters in literature come to life when nobody's looking, and conduct their antics largely according to character. In this case, a gluttonous Henry VIII gets called away from a sumptuous feast by a taciturn matron. Once Henry, reduced to a fauntleroy by her imperious demands, comes a-running to her, she starts spanking him! It's a parody of the old radio drama The Aldrich Family.

Exactly,OUB! Can't say I was familiar with The Aldrich Family when I was a kid (or a lot of the other pop culture references ),but it's always been one of my favorite cartoons.I even sometimes used Henry's high pitched''Coming,Mother!''whenever Mom called me!Back to you.

Nifty. :) And here's an example of armchair psychology:

I'm going to say it's Buzz Lightyear from the first Toy Story movie.

Well, Saltyboot, you actually did say Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, and that's makes you completely correct, no take-backs. Good going! :)

"Is that a new haircut? Come on, tell me it's a new haircut, isn't it? It's got to be a new haircut. New makeup? You had a lift? You had a tuck? You had something? Something has been inserted in your skin that makes you look..... Listen, I need a favor."

The "hachachachacha" is a signature catchphrase of the late comedian Jimmy Durante, as is the follow-up line, "How'm I doin'?" From the Good Old Days of Hollywood.

Yep, that's definitely The Big Bad Wolf playing Grandma to Red Riding Hood while suddenly going into a Jimmy Durante impression. I didn't know the "How I'm doing?" was one of his trademarks as well. It works really well coming from The Big Bad Wolf as an aside to the audience.

Oh, good hint. This'd be Mushu the dwarf dragon hamming it up while accompanying Fa Mulan to the Imperial Army training camp.
