    Other Side Of Maleficent

    I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

    The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    I thought maybe I'd share a little bit about this Disney animated video:

    The Black Cauldron
    This is the ultimate adventure movie about the item of the title's namesake. If you know all the ongoings, you could be part of the biggest adventure of your life.
    The story focuses on 14-year-old Taran, Assistant Pig Keeper of the countryside of Caer Dallben, which is part of the country of Prydain. When Hen Wen, Dallben's oracular pig goes into a state of hysteria, Taran tries to calm her down but he has no such luck. Dallben reveals that the fiendish Horned King wants Hen Wen to reveal the whereabouts of the enigmatic Black Cauldron, because if the Horned King can find the Black Cauldron, catastrophic results may occur and no outside force could stop him. Soon Taran and Hen Wen set off to find a safe place for the pig, but a huge dragon attacks Taran and takes Hen Wen away. The Horned King now having Hen Wen now wants the revelance of the Cauldron, but Taran rescues Hen Wen in the nick of time. Along the way, Taran meets a fiesty dog/sheep creature named Gurgi, the beautiful Princess Ellonwy and the qualified musician Fllewder Fflam. Taran is introduced to the three witches Orwen, Orduu and Orgoch, who say that one must leap into the Black Cauldron to releave oneself of all fears, but doing so will kill the victim. When another dragon takes to the air with the Cauldron, the battle between Taran and the Horned King commences. Will Taran be able to stop the Horned King from depriving the Black Cauldron of its mysterious powers? You will be filled with suspense and ultimate excitement every step of the way and be surprised at the greatest fantasy-adventure movie known to all Disney fans.
