You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I've read once many moons ago that The Disney TV Animation Japan unit was actually really the bought out Pacific Animation Company (yet Wikipedia says it was founded by former TMS employees, or maybe that is part of an example to not believe everything on Wikipedia) and that Disney TV animation France was originally the Brizzi Bros Animation Studio (from Babar).

So, now to regard what Disney TV Animation Australia originally was, I think that would have to been exactly the exact same Australian animation studio (e.g King Arthur and Square Knights, Beetle Bailey, Krazy Kat) that was used by Hanna Barbera on some of their shows on their very beginning and eventually purchasing them so that they could farm their shows outright for extremely low budget (certainly away from the other Asian studios they had been using since the beginning, must certainly be a matter of choice nowadays to send animation to Asia now, because I've once read that several Asian studios, not just TMS from japan but also some of the other ones from Korea can be extremely EXPENSIVE!!![IMG] and BTW, Australia is not part of Asia, it is it's own continent )

Either that with Disney buying off Hanna Barbera or maybe this was a special unit partly exclusive to Disney, who knows?

If it's the latter, then it must be one of the very first Disney TV animation units set up to make sure, even though the animation was still overseas, the animation was still Disney BY Disney, and contrary to what I've heard about Sunwoo, Actually Disney TV Australia was actually exactly mainly the studio that primarily replaced TMS on animating on the Disney shows, Sunwoo wasn't founded until much later, i believe.

Anyway let's hear your opinions and speculations, guys about the Disney television animation units.
