    Other Side Of Maleficent

    I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

    The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Yes , I have watched all of it. Well known Studio Ganix is the producer of this Colorful, X Rated? or maybe PG series. It has some wonderful wacky characters and in some cases lots of Toilet Humor, but I would recommend it. Nato Salt Lake , Utah.     Yes, it does have a lot of scatological humor. I wouldn't go so far as to say X-rated though. I wouldn't even qualify it is as Hentai, barely Ecchi. It is an interesting idea nonetheless, lol.

    Welcome back, Nato, missed you. Yes, Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt is a Studio Gainax production, with all that that entails. PSG is raunchy, with plenty of nudity, though with Barbie-doll anatomy mostly. My understanding is that PSG is a deconstructionist work based upon Craig McCracken's Powerpuff Girls. The overarching plot of the series revolves around two angels, Panty and Stocking, who have been dismissed from Heaven, and must earn their way back in by defeating malicious ghosts that torment Daten City. Making things worse is that the two angels have two demonic foils in Scanty and Kneesocks. While the first few episodes are haywire and comedic almost to "Tex" Avery homages, the later episodes undergo a Cerebus Syndrome and become much darker and dramatic.
