You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

    Dear cartoon enthusiasts,

I am desperately in search of an old cartoon I watched when I was a kid. I remember very little, but am so eager to find out. Here is what my memory stored:

    - black & white cartoon
    - look of 30s - 50s era
    - mother with family and kids shown

Also I think there was a cross section of a whole house displayed, where you could see all the rooms at once, but I'm not too sure about that anymore.

I know, it is not much at all, but maybe somebody has an idea?

    Thanks!

    Hey, AcmeFalls!

Unfortunately, there isn't much information to go on here. Is there anything else you remember? Were there any animals in the cartoon?

    Hi mreifof,

I know, I know... Chances are low to nonexistent with the information I provided. Animals were not shown. But I am more certain about the house situation. I think, the camera drives in a cross-section like view from room to room and it's the mother moving from room to room.

*sigh* Well, good luck. I’m presuming that the cartoon you seek is a Hollywood product with a script in English. If I get any ideas, I will pass them on to you.
Interesting, that room-to-room camera tracking you describe sounds like a Kubrick trait. Fleischer studios did work like that, and they were b+w back in the day.

Thank you so much, mreiof, for your help. I wasn't very confident in getting any answers with my non-specific description, but Fleischer Studios sounds at least like a start. In case something else comes back to my memory, I'll keep you posted if that's fine by you.
