You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

LearnFlash.com has announced the release of a new video training series called Flash Animation and Intros.

This video training series highlights common animation techniques used in Flash, and teaches you how to build full length animated intros of your own. The series is available via download or CD, with the option of adding a mentor version. You can learn more details about this product from the official Web site of LearnFlash.com, or on the product page at www.learnflash.com/flashanimation.html.

Anyone who has ever looked over the shoulder of someone who really knew their stuff knows that this is the fastest way to learn. Typically, a trainer can walk a student through a set of complex instructions in a fraction of the time it would take a student to train themselves through a book. The problem is having that friend or colleague available anytime they are needed to review something.

That is where LearnFlash.com comes in. Their flash tutorial videos are recorded by experts who show students step-by-step how to use the latest software. The user hears the trainer’s voice and sees every movement on their computer screen, as if they were sitting right beside them. Best of all, the virtual trainer is always there.
LearnFlash.com's senior video trainer, Craig Campbell, comments on creating Flash Animation and Intros:

"I wanted to create this series in order to give Flash animators two things. First of all, I wanted to guide them towards being able to create their own effects from scratch by walking them through a library of popular effects that are used in Flash design today. Giving designers step-by-step instructions on how to achieve a specific effect can spark ideas for dozens of other effects that could be achieved using similar methods.

"The second thing I wanted do for Flash designers was to equip them with the skills they need to string together a series of effects into one long, cohesive animation that includes sound and special effects. Hopefully, with this series, I will be able to help a new generation of Flash developers get the jump start they need to start long, successful careers in Flash animation."

LearnFlash.com founder and president Conrad Feagin comments on his philosophy in founding LearnFlash.com and the unique mentor program it offers:

"Our approach to software training begins by recognizing that the best way to learn is by working one-on-one with a mentor. Someone who guides you along the way, showing you real practical uses for building websites with Flash, common shortcuts, and helps you avoid costly mistakes. Our mentor program also provides the one-on-one support you need to get quick answers to any problems you run into. The best part is that our Flash training is available for less than half the cost of classroom training, and you have no traveling expenses."
