You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Trying to locate a cartoon episode I remember from my childhood, which would have been late 80s to early 90s. My best guess is that it was part of an anthology series, potentially of fairy tales, although I haven't found any fairy tales close to it, and haven't found anything useful by looking through anthology series from that time period. Nickelodeon sticks out for some reason, but I literally went through the list of Nickelodeon shows on Wikipedia, going through episode listings, and couldn't find anything, so it could have been on another channel, either cable or network.

Here's what I remember about the story. It takes place in a workshop like setting, where girls are learning to be weavers or something like that. There are lots of pots / jars of different colored dyes that the girls use to dye their yarn or material. One or a few girls are jealous of another girl, and get revenge by hiding a pot (or jar) of special colored dye by changing the label on the pot. I go back and forth on the color of the dye; gold seems to stick out for some reason, but it also could have been a blue or a color like that. I'm pretty sure the targeted girl breaks down into tears when the special dye has disappeared (I don't remember what she needed the dye for), and while I don't really remember the ending, my strong suspicion is that the girl/girls that hid the dye relent in the end, retrieve the pot and apologize.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated. I've spent hours at various times over the years trying to locate the show/episode, both by Googling various descriptions of the plot, as well as searching episode listings of various cartoons and anthology series (both by type as well as network, e.g. on Wikipedia as I described above), but I haven't come across anything. Thanks!

Maybe "Madam Bella the Weaver" from The Littl' Bits?

It was indeed broadcast on Nick in the early '90s :)
