You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Well, it's official. Arthur, the popular animated series on PBS will end its run after 25 seasons. It will be cancelled by PBS after the winter of 2022.

Arthur was about a young aardvark, his siblings, and his friends, all of whom were animals. It was based on a book series.

I was never a fan of this show...but my brother and sister liked it in 1998...it was probably because I grew-out of the PBS shows at that time....

I used to watch "Arthur" regularly until midway through Season 11 (in 2007). I have to admit, the show was at its prime during the 1990s and early 2000s, but my interest started to wane by 2005. The plots didn't seem to appeal to me, and Season 11 was when I ultimately lost interest. That, and rerunning the same earliest seasons over and over again like there was no tomorrow. Having memorized the storyline to many of the Season 1 segments was so scary, it isn't even funny.

However, I did see the final segment of the series. I was kind of expecting it to be a blown-out finale, but as viewers might have expected, it was a final round of rehashing elements from past episodes. I think the final new segment was interesting (especially with Marc Brown's character - the author of the book series - making an appearance in the library), but I think it could have been better.

So we now know that "The Simpsons" will likely be the longest-running cartoon series, which has more than 30 seasons produced so far. But the impressive feat that "Arthur" - the series - achieved, was that it is the longest-running children's cartoon series in television history.
