You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

70's (?) weird sci-fi time travelling animation

    Hi all,

First post here. I came across this site googling and browsed through a while before posting. I'm looking for a really old animation and I think it might be a good place to ask about it. I was a kid in early 80s and saw an animation back then in which a cheesy looking old guy, used to instruct a young blonde kid about how to take care of himself on an alien planet (or a large ship, not sure -but I'm sure the old guy had his personal 1 man ship- ), how to crack open alien fruits and so on. I remember this wasn't the apparent main plot but nearing the end the antagonists killed the old guy by shooting the space vehicle he was in (he went down in a really comical manner) and then stuff got real. I remember the survivors placing him in a brain scan like some kind of MR and that revealing the fact that he was that young kid he instructed earlier and that there was a time-loop/travel thing going on.

I'm pretty sure this wasn' mainstream and it's probably eastern european, french or russian material. I don't realistically expect to find an answer here but it'd be awesome if I could really. I'm sorry if I couldn't explain it clearly but this has been on my old brain for about 30 years at least!

    Thanks in advance.

    Additional details:

The protagonist, as a kid looked a lot like the the player from the one from the video game named Space Harrier or at least I thoght so when I played it in the arcades during the same era. [IMG]

Some more technically inclined petit prince character going on there. As for the older version, I don't remember much but the character was presented as a comic relief before he was exposed as the same person as the kid, drawn with horizontal strokes and probably had a horizontal whıte/whatever colored striped shirt too.

Rest of the cast were depicted as young but pretty cool characters and they were saddened and surprised to see the aforementioned twist. I'm sorry, this is probably too little info and too much personal impression but this is what I have.
