You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Okay, the organization, not the girls, although Milly England, a former Girl Scout, turned 110 on May 15, 2010.

On March 12, 1912, Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low assembled 18 girls from Savannah, Georgia for a local Girl Scout meeting. She believed that all girls should be given the opportunity to develop physically, mentally and spiritually.

Today, Girl Scouts of the USA has a membership of over 3.2 million girls and adults -- both residents of the United States and Americans living elsewhere. More than 50 million women in the U.S. today are Girl Scout alumnae.

Some famous Girl Scouts who showed up in cartoons:

    Lucille Ball
The funniest woman in TV history was caricatured in the cartoon opening sequences of I Love Lucy and early episodes of The Lucy Show.

    Candace Bergen
The title character of Murphy Brown, she repeated the characterization in the Family Guy episode "A Picture's Worth 1,000 Bucks."

    Dr. Joyce Brothers
This psychologist and writer guested as herself in the Simpsons episode "Last Exit to Springfield."

    Peggy Cass
This actress (and To Tell the Truth panelist) voiced Mancy on Michael Sporn's half-hour cartoon The Emperor's New Clothes, which aired on PBS in 1991.

    Kitty Carlisle
An actress and TV panelist, she was voiced by Maggie Roswell in the 1994 Simpsons episode "Bart Gets Famous."

    Katie Couric
The TV news anchor portrayed Katie Current in the 2004 DreamWorks movie Shark Tale.

    Bette Davis
A film icon, she was one of many stars caricatured in the 1938 Walter Lantz cartoon Hollywood Bowl.

    Dakota Fanning
Voice of the title character in the 2009 Laika Entertainment animated feature film Coraline.

"The Girl Scout Incident" was a 2010 episode of The Life & Times of Tim. When a co-worker sells his daughter's Girl Scout cookies, Tim puts his foot down, insisting that the girl won't learn anything if she doesn't do the legwork. But Tim's refusal - the only thing standing in the way of 100 percent participation at Omnicorp - costs the Girl Scouts $3,000 in company-matching funds. Most of the office brands him a "child-hater," but one coworker, a creepy Boy Scout leader named William, likes the cut of Tim's jib. He agrees to let Tim lead the troop to prove he doesn't hate kids. When Tim picks up the scouts, though, he lacks the funds to pay for a van, so he takes them camping in Central Park. After a run-in with a transvestite, the boys find an abandoned sack of knock-off handbags, which they sell on the street, raising $5,000. At work the next day, William busts Tim for the criminal enterprise.

"Eat My Cookies" was a 1994 episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show in which the boys join the Girl Scouts and earn merit badges and sell cookies.

"Cookie Crisis" was a 1997 episode of Johnny Bravo. When Little Suzy tries to sell Girl Scout cookies to Johnny, he refuses and a hilarious chase ensues.

"Red Robins Don't Fly" (Disney's Fillmore!, 2002): Ingrid goes undercover with the "Red Robins," a group of Girl Scouts. She has to solve the mystery of the stolen Band Candy. But will she like the Scouts so much that she won't come back to the Safety Patrol?
