You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Since you've all known that i had retired and moved on for good, this post will come as a huge shock to you guys......

Which season had the best animation, it typically goes like this.

Season 1: Basic Spongebob Look - Cel Animated.

Season 2 - Onward (Digital Ink and Paint is apoted and stays that way from now on) - Defivintive Spongebob Look.

Season 3: Sharper Brighter Vibrant Look.

Season 4: High Budget Theartical Look.

Season 5: Same as Before, only now Spongebob's protruding swollen cheeks (which started around Season 3) pretty much became the norm, more or less replacing the original smile.

Season 6: The Animation starts to get a litter stiffer and flatter, in fact as far as the gags go, things begin to catch the "Ren and Stimpy" syndrome at this point and even the designs begin to rawly indicate the work of the former crew members as well, need i also mention the sheer grossness of it...

Season 7: i guess i don't really need to eleaborate on anything after this pont, because nothing really evolves execpt get grosser and worser by this point....

so basically it's now all up to you to add you're own assements, feel free....

One thing i've noticed is that while watching a bunch of season one episodes, i'm begining to get the impression that not all episodes were animated by Rough Draft Studios, even though every episode of the series credits just them, i mean one set of episodes which consists Tea At Treedome, Boating School and Squeaky Boots have animation that is way more softer, thinner, and overall choppier look that just doesn't look like their style of animating at all, and instead gives me a dead giveaway that those were handled by another studio (uncredited), same goes for another set of episodes like Bubblestand, Jellyfishing and Naughty Neighbours which has a semi softer look, yet a bit smoother and slightly looser and jerky which again doesn't feel like the usual Rough Draft Job, again persuming that another studio did them....

However, in Season 1, there was an Accurate set of episodes such as Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, Pickles and Hall Monitor that was INDEED animated by them, as indicated by the thick rough lines, but somewhat polished and sleek animation style.

P.S: On a somewhat flattering note, this comeback thread feels like the episode " Nature Pants" where Spongebob quits his life for a new one and after seeing the truth, he decides to come back and his quotes during say:

"Oooh i had a great life and friends and i gave all of that up"

"I Made a big mistake, can you ever forgive me"

Well, i do know that flattery will get you nowhere.
