You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I've seen this in cartoons a lot, a family goes to a theme park that's similar to Disneyland/Disneyworld.

    For example...

"Garfield and Friends"-Garfield, Jon, and Odie go to a place owned by Wilson Wonder and it's controlled by Al Swindler.
"The Simpsons"-The Simpsons go to Itchy and Scratchy Land which has similarities to Disneyland.
"American Dad"-This one is recent, the Smiths go to a Disneyland-ish park...even the owner was frozen as in the rumor of Disney being frozen.

    Any other examples?

"The Playtown Mystery." Mr. T and the gymnasts visit a theme park, where Spike and Dozer discover that Marvin Mouse and Dingy Dog are the bad guys.

Subverted once in a The Simpsons episode where the kids of Springfield put Krusty the Clown back on TV, and he decides to reward them: "Kids, we're going to the happiest place on Earth!" Bart and Lisa especially watch Krusty closely; surely even he wouldn't plug a rival company. "Tiajuana!" :joyful:

There is a Tiny Toons where Plucky Duck accompanies Hamton's family to a Disney like theme park but after a huge road trip they merely go on the rail-car tour and then go home.

^ That would be Tiny Toon Adventures "How I Spent My Vacation." Hamton Pig, along with his father and mother, and Uncle Stinky, take Plucky Duck along cross-country by car to Happyworldland. "We've got six thrill rides, and four hundred gift shops."

Personally, I'd rather visit the gift shops--they're safer! :)

I'm surprised no one mentioned the "Drak Pack" episode "A Dire Day At Dredful Land." OGRE opens their own theme park, but the rides are anything but safe. The Drak Pack counters with their own Drak Pack Park.

Yep...Happyworld Land, The Pig Family just stayed for under an minute! I've spent more time at any event throughout my 32 summers that were more than the Pigs stayed! The Pigs even insisted Plucky to stay and watch the family slides as well which made Plucky insane!

But It's funny that one ride of Happyworldland is a name of a Led Zeppelin Song!...
