You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

    Hey Guys,

    My first post on here.
I love that there is a "Toons for Big Kids" topic, makes me feel at home! Here's some news I just heard about The Simpsons, and there doesn't seem to be any other posts about it on here yet.

Apparently the Simpsons may finally be coming to an end soon! FOX is considering offers for The Simpsons syndication...and they are looking for a $1 Billion Deal! Crazy!

That's the jyst of it, but the article I found it on is here:http://www.voiceovertimes.com/...al-for-the-simpsons/

Now I've always been a fan of The Simpsons, more so when I became a "Big Kid", and I'm on the fence on how I feel about it because with as many seasons and episodes they would have re-running...there's still episodes I'm sure I haven't even seen before, so to some extent it would be like I'm seeing it for the first time! They'd have a lot to cover that's for sure!

The Simpsons are going into their 24th Season, thoughts on the topic? Should they continue it, or would syndication be a relief?

It's been on for so long every Sunday on Sky 1 that it is like a religion to watch the new episodes of it every Sunday when they hit. UK always had syndcation running at the same times so a load of the tapes of the early episodes they have are now warn out so much that the yellow is all going white with the wear out colour fading.

The tapes aging also made the 23.970 - 25 conversion look a bit slower than the original showings as well when UK conversions are normally better than the original 23.970 US versions because of the faster framerates which also made the music more racey and much better for classical.

It's stupid that they didn't switch to DVD for Syndecation after their tapes worn out but thats the way Sky 1 works with classic episodes of stuff.

The show was okay up to the end of Season 7, but after that, it all went downhill. Bart Simpson was the primary focus during the earlier years, but these days, it's all about Homer.

I seriously think the show should have come to an end no later than 2005. But yeah, I think it's time to retire the show. The show has dominated Sunday nights for over a quarter of a century (much longer than The Flintstones, I think?), and that's long enough for a cartoon series to be airing. If syndication does occur, maybe it might be in the form of indefinite reruns or something.

Sadly, the Simpsons lost their greatness a lot of seasons ago.
