You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Okay... this is the final deadly sin and I will say there's many cartoon characters that are plain lazy!

We all know Garfield can sleep forever, Homer Simpson doesn't do much work, and even Foghorn Leghorn has others do his dirty work.

Any other sloth/lazy cartoon characters out there?

How about a literal sloth? Flash from Zootopia!
    Anyway...

Patrick Star. He got an award for being lazy.
Dodsworth teaches a kitten on how to mouse hunt. Then he takes all the credit.

The most obvious one of all: Lazy Smurf.

And of course, Paw Rugg, who often has to be roused into action by Maw Rugg.

    Baloo the Bear
    Jungle Book/Tale Spin

Baloo, the sloth bear is a friendly, likable, laid-back character who likes to take things easy.
In the series Tale Spin, his traits often frustrate his boss Rebbecca who's quite the industrious type "A" all-business personality.

    Lethargians

    The Phantom Tollbooth

Milo finds himself in the swampy Doldrums; land of the Lethargians The Lethargians gave in to slothful ways to the point where even their bodies turned the consistency of mud.
Milo begins to fall under their influence and feels he needs a nap.Tock the Watch-dog(he's literally is part watch) arrives and shakes Milo out of his drowsy state

    First and second pig brothers
the familiar fable of the 3little pigs
Silly Symphonies : Three Little Pigs

The first two pig brothers are more interested in play than work. they build their homes from sub-par materials, and soon experience homelessness due to the big bad wolf.

There's a Private SNAFU short called "The Goldbrick" in which a lazy fairy called Goldie the Goldbrick teaches SNAFU how to be lazy and sneak out of his duties--he ends up being killed. The kicker--Goldie is on Japan's side and knows that this is a surefire way to win the war for the Axis if other soldiers follow in SNAFU's footsteps.

"Porky's Bear Facts" features a lazy neighbor bear farmer who sings that "Working Can Wait." Winter comes and the bear and his dog are starving--Porky reluctantly lets them in to have dinner with him. The bear hasn't learned his lesson though.

Saltyboot beat me to Dodsworth--but he had second short called "A Peck o' Trouble" in which he convinces a kitten to catch the woodpecker for him--out of the pretense of teaching the little guy to cat birds. Best line: "Too bad they don't have elevators in these trees."

The Powerpuff Girls (the original ones) had an episode called "Cop Out" which featured the worst cop in Townsville, Mike Brikowski--yep, every single cop stereotype you can think of revolves around this guy--doughnuts and sleeping. After getting deservedly fired, he tries to kill the Powerpuff Girls. This isn't a bad cop gone bad--it's a bad cop gone worse! :D
