    Other Side Of Maleficent

    I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

Looking for an old British (maybe) cartoon

    Hello.
    So, I've been looking for a forgotten, really forgotten cartoon that I used to watch when I was younger....the problem is that in the dubbed version, the names of the characters were changed, and the cartoon name was quoted from the main character's name :banghead:..... which makes scene why I can't find it :facepalm: =_= I used everything I could remember....I searched a lot, asked a lot, but to no avail......but this site's name gave me hope *___* *Oh please please don't disappoint me T^T *


    Yeah, so...I'll blabber about what I remember, and if you know a similar cartoon, please tell me:

    First the protagonist is a little girl whose name was Maison (in the dubbed ver.). She wears an oversized robe coat. She has a black, short, thick, hair...She also has a pet (little turtle)....I'm not sure but it's     highly probable that she lives in London, without knowing her parents.....The little girl's most clear habit is time-wasting...That's why Smoke Men (I call them that because they are made of cigarette smoke and live on smoking) try to arrest (maybe?) her....Those evil guys controlled everyone in the city to not waste anytime, that people looked liked manipulated dolls. They couldn't manipulate the little girl, however. There is also an old man who helps Maison to run from the Smoke Men......

    was this western-style or anime? or did

    I'm not sure it was British..I just thought so because of the city. Btw I looked upon every cartoon in this category...but I didn't find it among them...I'll start looking in French and Italian cartoons when I have time.
    So, from my statement, it's clear the cartoon is western-style. And I watched in a language other than English.

    Good news! I'm one step closer to find it! I've searched another cartoon that had a very similar style and, YES I found it (Orson and Olivia)...So, my cartoon is probably a 90's cartoon.
