You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I LOVE Donald Duck! I loved him as a little girl and I just started getting into him again. I forgot how cute and funny he was. Just the sound of his voice leaves me in stitches. Last month I bought Chronological Donald Vol. 1 and I just got Vol. 2 from the Easter Bunny! (That's right folks, I'm a college girl but the EB still spoils me[IMG]). Anyway, does anyone have any [IMG] favorites? Here's a couple of mine:

    Self Control

Radio Therapist: Have you ever lost your temper before?
    Donald: Who me? Never!

    Early To Bed

"I may be just a duck. But I'm human. And I can only stand so much!"

    Modern Inventions

I like his poseur baby voice!

Some of my favorites from when I was a kid are the ones where he co-starred with Chip n' Dale and Donald's Ostrich with Hortense the Ostrich! And Donald's Snow Fight and Hockey Champ where he's competing with his nephews. I forgot what a bunch of little hell-raisers they were[IMG]

An old favorite of mine is "The clock watcher" from 1945, where Donald has a job at a department store, and the bosses turn out to be real jerks to him.

"Der Fuhrer's Face" stands out to me as one of the funniest things Disney has done. "Toy Tinkers" is a Christmas time classic for me. I also love the cartoons where Mickey Donald and Goofy are teamed up piratically "Mickey's Service Station". There are so many great Donald cartoons though.

I like "Bellboy Donald"...he has to keep cool, but loses it in the end...I feel that way sometimes.

Also...it has a few gags that Donald encounters, temper and wardrobe malfunction.

Oh my goodness, where do I begin? Donald is one of my all time favorite Disney characters, so just picking one favorite is going to be hard. But here are a selected few, in no particular order (except maybe chronological). WARNING: This is a long list!

    The Autograph Hound
    Officer Duck
    Mr. Duck Steps Out
Donald's Snow Fight (this was the first Donald Duck cartoon I ever saw)
    Der Fueher's Face
    Trombone Trouble
    Donald's Crime
Duck Pimples (this one I found to be a laugh riot!)
    Sleepy Time Donald
    Donald's Dilemma
    Daddy Duck (so cute!)
Dude Duck (love the antics with the horse!)
    Donald Applecore
Trick or Treat (gotta love June Foray!)
    Don's Fountain of Youth
Canvas Back Duck (one of my favorite bits: "Aw the guy's yellow!" "He is not!" "I am too! Let's go home!")
    Spare the Rod
How to Have an Accident in the Home
How to Have an Accident at Work ("He checks in and his mind checks out." LOVE the face!)
