You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

    Passed away at age 83.

Born as Meadow George Lemon. Joined the Harlem Globetrotters basketball stunt team in 1954 and stayed for 25 years before forming his own basketball stunt group "The Bucketeers". Member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. Became an ordained minister in the 1980s.

Appeared in cartoon form in Hanna-Barbera's "Harlem Globetrotters" cartoon series in 1971, with Scatman Crothers performing Meadowlark's voice. Meadowlark Lemon did perform the "Meadowlark" song used in an episode where the Globies' funny basketball game sequences required songs as background music a la "Scooby Doo" and "Josie and the Pussycats" chase scenes. Lemon did act in a few films including "Modern Romance" with Albert Brooks and "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh" that also starred star hoopster "Dr. J" Julius Erving.

Aw, "Meadowlark" was one of the greats of the game: tremendous talent, showboat skills, and a boundless sense of humor. If basketball today was more like a civilized sport and less like hockey with a ball and no ice, Lemon would be up there with Chamberlain and Jordan. When toddlers can marvel at what the Globetrotters / Bucketeers do in safety, that's doing it right. When all the world's a stage, then Meadowlark knew how to play to the crowd. Thanks oodles, Meadow, you made it fun.

Freddie "Curly" Neal and Hubert "Geese" Ausbie are now the last 2 surviving original Globetrotters with ties to the cartoon. In fact, Curly and Geese are also the only 2 Globetrotters to persevere through all of Hanna-Barbera's animated incarnations of the basketball wizards, including 1979's Super Globetrotters and the 1980 special The Harlem Globetrotters Meet Snow White, both on NBC.
