You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

I did learn that a company holds the DVD rights to the Little Rascals animated series, but since the series has joint ownership by multiple companies, I would assume there would have to be licensing fees paid to all those multiple companies, and if true, that could allow for an expensive DVD set if it was to get released. I can see why there were never any VHS releases of such series.

Of course, there were only 18 episodes of the series, so maybe the price might not be that bad after all. Even if the series were to be released as a limited edition made-on-demand release, I may probably consider purchasing such DVD set online. But for the time being, I'm just going to wait for episodes to appear on the web.

I like the made-on-demand idea. Maybe one day.

I just thought of something: I wonder if they may wait a while until it is time to release a Pac-Man/Little Rascals/Richie Rich DVD set, and eventually a Monchhchis/Little Rascals/Richie Rich DVD set? That may be possible, but the only problem is that The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show Volume I DVD set (with the first seven episodes of Season 1) didn't sell that well. I am not sure if nobody was interested in Richie Rich as an 80s animated cartoon version as opposed to the comic book series, though the comic book series had ceased production since 1994, and while Ape Entertainment licensed the Richie Rich stories in 2011, I am not sure if it was selling well, as I have not heard of any new issues for some time. I wonder if Richie Rich is forgotten among today's generation of children?

There were two VHS releases of Richie Rich in the 1990s consisting of nothing but select Zillion Dollar Adventures segments, most of which were from the final two seasons with the mature-sounding Richie Rich. I wonder if they sold well?

Another option would be to release the animated Little Rascals on Hulu, but the only disadvantage would be that I'm from Canada and CanadIan residents wouldn't be able to see them. So a DVD set or a video sharing site are my only two options. I really hope more episodes will be uploaded eventually.
