You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Yes, OUB, you nailed it. It's him, and for all the reasons you listed. So step up with pride, and take your long overdue turn. Great job. :)

Thanks for the softball. Let me view another feature film I have, then I'll be ready to give some clues. :)

Ah, there I go. Just needed a refresher from a source we've not yet tapped.

    1) This character has appeared once to date in a partially-animated feature film. That's "partially," as in Space Jam or Cool World kind of thing.

    2) This central character meets his human co-star by accident. As in crossing the road / screeching tires / dreadful thump sort of accident. Fortunately, it's not fatal.

    3) Curiously, this character does not have a theme song; not one with lyrics, anyway. However, three co-stars with relatively little screen time are given a hip-hop song.

Would this be E.B. from "Hop?"

Well, this happens to be eggs-actly E.B. the rabbit from Illumination Entertainment's Hop, a blend of CGI animation in a live-action studio world. E.B. meets Fred O'Hare by accident while he's crossing a road, bemoaning his circumstances, and Fred doesn't see the li'l bunny soon enough to avoid contact. E.B. is knocked on his back, but suffers no concussion or broken bones, though he does fake lameness. E.B. doesn't get a theme song with lyrics, but the Pink Berets sent to retrieve him by any means necessary, got a hip-hop tune. Hop did poorly in theaters, but somehow, I can't put much hate on a production with bunnies in it.

Yeah, the second clue did it for me, thanks to that trailer.

Anyhow, going with a fairly simple one as I have a cruise on Thursday.

    1. We are a duo.
    2. One of us is clearly the leader, the other is a follower.
    3. Afraid of cats? No, not us--in fact we use a lot of mental tricks against them.

Yeah, but the little guys were overdue anyway. Yes, it's Hubie and Bertie.
    1. Quite obvious.
    2. Hubie is the leader, Bertie quickly picks up on what Hubie is up to--usually after being pulled back from runing away or after a good slap and a whisper of his plan.
    3. When a mouse can brazenly walk up to a cat and convince him that he's a lion, (Roughly Squeaking) you know these guys aren't afraid of cats. Mental tricks are their main weapon.

Thanks, Glowworm. Now here's one of my all-time favorites:

    1. I'm a child prodigy complete with lab coat, glasses, and graduation cap.

    2. I get along quite well with the title character, even though my uncle is one of the antagonists.

3.. At my age, I'm smart enough to build my own spaceship, and become the world's youngest space traveler.

I think this is Poindexter, nephew of the Professor who is the principal nemesis of Felix the Cat. Apparently, schmartnezz runs in the family. :p

OUB, you win again. Great job. :) Next to Felix himself, he was my favorite character from that show.

I think I can see why: Poindexter at times would regard his uncle as crossing the Moral Event Horizon, and side with Felix, because Felix was cool. Kind of makes Poindexter a Minion With An F In Evil.

Pardon me for taking so long, and for not finding a virgin vein to tap. Meh, still a worthwhile character, though.

    1) This character appears to date solely in an animated television series produced by an accredited studio.

    2) This character is a good guy, one of the first responders to thwart monsters / villains / aliens / mutants ... villainous alien mutant monsters. Yes, it's that kind of cartoon.

    3) Going by his voice alone, he must be a heroic type. And going by appearances, he's bigger and stronger than most of his underlings: nearly twice as tall, broad shoulders, top-heavy physique, Lantern Jaw of Justice.

Sorry, but I haven't a single clue. I can rule out the ones I thought of, since none of them match the clues.

Pete, he's already on the list. I guessed him a while back. I think I know the answer now, but I'll wait and see if someone else gets it.
