Exactly, except they're trying to get Maui's fishhook--things go pretty badly at this point and Moana manages to trick Tamatoa with a fake heart of Te Fiti.
I'm not sure if it's obvious, but Tamatoa is my most recent "cartoon crush." Seeing as how most of my cartoon crushes have been really weird, I'm not even surprised anymore. Also, it's Disney's fault for making a psychotic 50 foot coconut crab sound sexy. (seriously, have you heard him sing?)

Agreed, Tamatoa has the same incubus vibe going on as Hexxus and that "Toxic Love" villain song.

Indeed, and it DOESN'T help that he sounds like a combination of David Bowie and Tim Curry when he's singing. It's definitely what I like to call "The Hexxus Effect" in which a character who is anything BUT sexy ends up being sexy thank to their voice.
