You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

What's your favorite anime?

I recently started watching Pokémon. I own several of the Pokémon console games and a few of the handheld ones but never played any of them or watched the cartoon. Mostly a collecting thing. So I decided to watch the show to see if the games might be worth playing.

Wow. The first few seasons of Pokémon have impressed me so far.

Lots of new anime to be viewing In 2015-16. I will list titles "Wizard Barristers" Set in the near future the use of Magic is prohibited except for Lawyers (barristers) who in a special court of law, can use it to defend clients accused of using magic to commit crimes. Action, some comedy, very nicely animated. "Space Dandy" From the people who brought you fan favorite "Cowboy Bebop". A very clever two season in Japan show. Very creatively done an alien hunter and his robot team up others to form a crew who roam the galaxy to fined rare alien's and collect a reward (bounty). Colored and animated like you are on an LSD trip from the 70's. Very clever plots and story lines. You will not forget "Boobies" the Denny's restaurant chain in space. "Shiro Bako" a slice of life Moe show about working in the Japanese anime (animation ) industry. It was on for two seasons."Brynildr In the Darkness" Some violence necessary to the plot. A very gripping story. "A Lull in the Sea". Definitely a Moe show, with a very clever science fiction plot I will not give out a plot spoiler for this. From the fairly recent past "The Twelve Kingdoms" an epic story based on the long running manga (comic book) of the same name. Produced by TBS , prepare for 42 episodes of action and adventure, lots of Chinese Mythology also some Japanese, plus a wonderful science fiction plot travel between modern Japan, and mythological China. This gets a five star rating ***** the English Dub is as good as subtitled version, can be viewed with subtitles on but spoken English. Last but not least "The Pilots Love Song" neat science fiction set in a alternate universe, some what like "Last Exile" of a few seasons back, but better in some ways. The aircraft are very cool. Again no spoiler for this, you will have to watch it . I could list more that I have watched by my self and with a friend however, I think this enough for now. "How about them Pokey (slow) Men". NATO.

Lol I write about my favorite all the time on other sites so I'll just copypaste.

Full Moon Wo Sagashite-it's just this grand-scale, emotional journey that has everything I love; cute/sexy characters with amazing development, outstanding soundtrack, a powerful, tear-jerking story, lots of charming Japanese folklore, magical girls, and the most adorable love story ever conceived. Plus IRONY. Lots and lots of irony.

It's underrated as **** and should not be missed by anyone.

Ooo, I'm kinda bad at picking overall favourites, but amongst them would definitely be:
    Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (Silver Fang)
    Samurai Champloo
    Wolf's Rain
    Cowboy Bebop
    Haibane Renmei
    Trigun
    Death Note

Also, Princess Mononoke deserves a big fat mention! I'm not really into the anime "scene" anymore, but if there's enough people talking about it, I'll give a series a go! Most recent one we watched was Attack on Titan, but it did that typical "we're going to drag this out" thing and we kinda lost interest. The first episode was solid though!
