You WIll Need To Reset Your Password!!!

We just moved hosts on this system, and this has caused a few updates. One is the way we encode and store the encoded passwords.

Your old passwords will NOT work. You will need to reset your password. This is normal. Just click on reset password from the log in screen. Should be smooth as silk to do...

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Other Side Of Maleficent

I have been looking forward to Maleficent with equal amounts of anticipation and dread. On one hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, so cold and so pure, and I want desperately to see more of her and her back-story. On the other hand, she is easily my favorite Disney villain, and I would hate to see her parodied, taken lightly or ultimately destroyed in a film that does not understand this great character. The good news is that this film almost gets it right; but that is also the bad news.

    Disney To Feast In France

The follow up to Disney’s 2013 Academy Award Winning short Paperman has been announced, and it will premiere at France’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival. Titled The Feast, the short looks to be based on the same stylized CG techniques used on last years Paperman, a more natural and hand-drawn look to computer animation.

    Renegades of Animation: Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan became famous worldwide for his creation of Felix the Cat. What most animation histories gloss over is Sullivan’s checkered past and longtime standing as a wildcat renegade. He didn’t follow the rules. And he made damn sure to fully protect his intellectual properties.

Captain Amelia of the RLS Legacy, badly injured after a crash landing on Treasure Planet, speaks the first line. Astrophysicist Delbert Doppler, amazed that someone so lithe and lovely, and whom regards Doppler as the epitome of fools, concludes that the captain is delusional. That explains his response, which is the second line.

Just rewatched this one, so, yes, I'm nosing through the archives again. Old grunks like me get to do that.

That's the one, Salty: that phony king of England, Prince John. He's especially miffed that a Merry Men song mocking him has gone so viral that his own minions are singing it.

Easily found. It's Wallace, from the Wallace And Gromit film, "A Close Shave."

Thanks, Salty. Now for another untapped one that just turned 50:

    "Good boy, Shep."

Fifty years ago? That'd be 1967, which is just right for Jay Ward and his George Of The Jungle series. Shep would be his pet elephant, whom George treats as a domesticated dog. Hard to believe that anyone could be more stupid than George, but Shep qualifies.

Well, then I'll answer. It's Charles B. Barkin, from "All Dogs Go To Heaven."

Yes, this is the late Burt Reynolds voicing the German shepherd with slippery morals, Charlie Barkin, from Don Bluth's animated feature All Dogs Go To Heaven. He's delivering pizzas to Flo and her brood, possibly because Charlie sired them, although that's left ambiguous. It also allows adorable orphan Ann Marie the chance to meet them. Flo and her pups live in the steeple of an old chapel.

Um, Mr. Bunny? The last time I checked, Burt Reynolds was still alive. Is there a hoax going around? o_O

You're correct, GW. Burt Reynolds is still alive. Those legendary ladies men tend to be immortal: Zeus, Burt Reynolds, Hugh Hefner, Tom Selleck ... still standing. Must be their exercise regimen.
